Hello Everyone:.......I'm writing this misty eyed and with a heavy heart because I feel I'm saying good bye to my wife, family and dearest friends.
I'll probably be going to the Hospice in a day or two, or whenever a bed is available there for me.......I hate to leave my home 'but everything I do here, to help myself, has become a burden and I hate to ask my dear wife to do anything for me.......She would gladly do it, but I feel like I'm putting the cross on her if I ask her to help me....After all, she's a few years older than me and also needs her rest.
Last night, was a deciding factor.....I was a little cold in bed and a little hungry......It was 2 am.....I didn't have enough incentive to dress properly and warm myself a nice glass of milk.......would have been too much of an effort.....
Paperwork and such is being prepared for my admitance to the Hospice......It's up to me to let em know when I'm ready and as soon as a bed is available, it's mine.
I've prepared another Puter to take with me but I don't know if I'll ever get to use it......I do have all the extra addresses I need to get in touch if the opportunity ever arises. I surely will try to get to say HI to all my great friends in the Pinochle and golfing world.
When I do leave, my oldest son Jeffrey, will let Babydoll know about it so you can switch email addresses......my new email address then will be luliz55@msn.com Please do not reply to this present address because I may not see it.
As an afterthought,....If you ever see a penny laying on the ground.......pick it up.....cause it will be reminder from me that I saw you......Feel free to call em 'PENNIES FROM HEAVEN'........Or if you ever see a Monarch Butterfly flying around..... that will be me in disguise...... keeping an eye on you.
I love you all, remember that, and I will have my friends, son and daughters in Heaven help me to ease all your tribulations on earth.
