] Date Posted: 13:04:33 07/07/06 Fri In reply to: Jasper 's message, ": possesed :" on 14:31:07 07/06/06 Thu Weak, huh? Well, what was he to have given in to it as well? But, Kuro, my dear, you must remember that vampires, especially vampires in bed, can be quite persuasive. She tried to hide her grin at the half-breed's enjoying attention. Everyone loved attention. She couldn't lie about it. To the exiting vampire, Kuro bowed slightly. Of course the shifter would take the vampire up on that offer, just not quite so soon. Leave Jasper with Koen and Ky, huh? Intrigued: who, Kuro? Now that Dorjan was as good as gone, the female turned back to the shy male. It wasn't that she wasn't happy to have someone to talk to, it was just...Well, to put it bluntly, there wasn't any trust between them. Could she trust this man - well, boy - with her life? Probably not at this particular moment, but they'd get there. "I expect the Master didn't show you around. Shall we go for a tour of the house?" No shape changing, no furry claws popping up in unexpected places. Kuro was all-human. For now. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |

Date Posted: 23:16:30 07/07/06 Fri He waited until Dorjan had left the room before looking to the lady, eyeing her closely at the suggestion of the tour. Great, his plans were finally given an opportunity to start and here he was having second thoughts. Of course, after only a moment's considerationg, he deemed the retrival of his chair of greater importance than staying and being some idle, lazy ass. "Yeah, sounds good to me," he murmured, staying by the door, not seeing the need to go closer. They were going right out, anyway. "Have you been here long?" Oh, wow, he was trying to start a conversation. He was swiftly deciding that to get anywhere, he'd need her help - who knew, maybe this catty girl could be of aid to him. Jasper was one to take advantage of companions, if need be... [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: 18:25:53 07/15/06 Sat Kuro watched the human boy for a minute. Her body still but for the movement of her eyes. Was it just his unease around her or could it be that he just didn't like it here? Nevertheless, the shifter would do as she was told. His move for the door seemed to snap her out of any non-human thoughts. Perhaps like food. "I have been here but a few days. Still, there is a lot to teach someone who doesn't know our heirarchy." She took a step closer, almost herding him to the door. The female left the conversation there. In order to teach, you had to show. And Kuro was better at showing than telling, wouldn't you agree? "Would you like me to explain to you first the rules of the household before we actually enter the household? There are more dangers here than meets the human eye." Not that he was human, but he was more so than most of the visitors here were and that was a problem that would have to be addressed. If he was to be guarded, then he needed to know against what. Go at it, Kuro, ol' girl. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: 16:58:24 07/18/06 Tue He moved closer to the door, gaze turned away, saying in an eager tone - of course false, "Yeah, that would be really great. Already know rule one; don't piss off Dorjan." The second sentence was spoken in a flatter, more serious tone. He knew it from experience. Jasper was quiet again soon enough, waiting for her to speak and lead further out. This was valuable information to him; more than he'd anticipated, but worthwhile nonetheless. Date Posted: 20:02:23 07/24/06 Mon Kuro chuckled softly, a curious sound that reminded some of bells. "That would be a variation of the first rule. The actual written rule is this: The Master's word is law. To break it is to undermine his authority and that isn't something you want." The shifter moved closer to the door and waved him through, heading down the hallway, but away from the guest bedrooms. "The heirarchy here is similar to that of a feudal lord's castle. There are people with certain responsibilities and tasks. The higher you are on the ladder, the less tasks you have, the more power you have over others, and the more blame you take for mistakes. The way to get up the ladder is to be good, not be punished." Kuro shivered involuntarily, remembering her own experiences with punishment and making her way up the social ladder in her old household. "But, what questions do you have about the household? It's better to answer things you don't know than repeat things you do, anyways." [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: 20:13:59 07/24/06 Mon He nodded slowly and moved to willingly follow behind her, listening in respectful silence. She obviously had plenty of experience, he could tell; a definite aid. Jasper crossed his arms across his lower back, gazing about the place, responding quietly, "I suppose I have a few questions... How many 'slaves' are in this mansion? Are there other mansions?" Date Posted: 09:50:02 07/26/06 Wed She continued her trek down the corridor, leaving her back exposed to him, giving him this measure of trust to test him. In fact, if Kuro didn't need to protect him and keep him from running out of the mansion, screaming, then she would be the one walking behind him, following him like a shadow just within arm's reach in case he bolted. But, that wasn't the case. He did need protecting, she did need to explain the mansion's working to him, and he wasn't dashing around trying to make his escape. Yet. Kuro didn't even glance back at him when she responded. "There aren't more than 10 slaves in this mansion. A few...people you should avoid in the guest bedrooms. This is small for a mansion of the Master's status." In response to his second question, she did turn back to him, but only for a glance. Wouldn't want a graceful lady like herself to be running into things, now would we? "There are plenty of other mansions, run by vampires, shapeshifters, anyone who has power, not to mention money to spare. The household I came from is known for its breeding lines. Another could be known for their pit fighters. Each Master has their own area of expertise." She answered the questions and fell silent. No need to give away too much information, right? Date Posted: 17:14:25 07/26/06 Wed He watched her closely, observing her casual, yet aware stride; he was clearly of no threat to her, and he wanted to keep it that way. He was not sure exactly how far she would go to honor her master's requests, leaving Jasper clueless about whether she would get violent with him if he tried to escape. "Alright," he murmured softly to the comment about staying out of the guest bedrooms. They didn't sound like a place he needed to go to get his chair, so they were of no importance to him. To the furthered speech about other mantions, he said nothing, jsut gave a frown to indicate he heard, and was not pleased with that fact. He didn't say more, simply followed, waiting to be led into familiar territory in which he could attempt to take what was his, and leave. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
