HELP

What causes my male Eclectus to make the same horrible screeching sound daily?

He is a healthy, happy one-year old male who has an assorted diet consisting of nuts, pellets, fruits, beans and vegetables. He certainly enjoys eating.

His cage is huge, clean and always with fresh water. He loves his cage.

When he makes this horrible sound, we tell him no. If he still persists then we place him in detention for about 3-5 minutes by putting him in his hand-carrying case. He is quiet while in detention.

Should we be doing anything else? Please reply to: vja@expresslogisticsllc.com.

Thank you.
