I have found skunks hate the wet and will not bother. I have a friend that had a family of them living under her house we flooded the crawl space they left and we shored it all up put in a dehumidifier to dry it up and she has not had a problem in over 6 months. They were really BAD.
Of course you know my position on those C.. things get rid of them then you can set all the traps you want LOL.
