I'm not a huge Ben Harper fan, i've got all his albums, and i just enjoy having him as background music, but still, it was awesome. they played a super-tight set, and a really cool version of Excuse Me Mr. They have been doing little reggae numbers of their hits on this tour, they did Steal My Kisses at the first Auckland show, in reggae. Jack Johnson was pretty good too, i was told it sounds exactly like the cd. I was standing right at the front, where the sound is never really as good, but it sounded really good there too. I was suprised how how much of a rock show Ben Harper was. He had the distortion crankin on The Woman In You. He even jumped off the drum riser. I haven't been that impresses since i last saw Pacifier. hang on... the last show i saw before that WAS Pacifier. Great stuff, only tip, don't stand up the front. Insence!! for fucks sake. I'm glad everybody's favourite bogan rockers don't burn insence, jesus, i couldnt handle rocking out to Pacifier while 'Summer Sensations' was burning. hahahah.
