When i first heard about this, i figured it was put on there so Pacifier could still play it live in the US and not get "wtf is that?" looks. and also as a kind of enticement to look into the shihad back-catalogue.

but Tom himself told me that its because when the big record company dudes came down to watch a Pacifier show for the first time, they saw My Minds Sedate and said "OH MY GOD! WHAT THE *FUCK* WAS THAT?!?!?!?!?!?! WE *HAVE* TO GET THAT ON THE NEW RECORD"

and er, yeah. it is. on the US version anyways.
