The last two nights that I was in the show, there was a problem with the cargo net being in the way of the gyspy's performance on the tissues. On those nights,Sat and Sun, The cargo net was placed in the position ready to fall during the Benjamin/Captin fight,thus making it impossible for the tissue number to be seen or performed correctly.On those nights there was no 1st mate in the show to set the cargo net in the proper postion they need it to be in to perform the stunt taking them across to the back upper level. If there is no first mate in the show ,no one takes responsibility for the cargo net and its positioning is left to the mercy of whomever decides to position it.In the old blocking, Benjamins would set the net as it was part of thier stunt, but it was placed in position to fall on them in that sequence.If it is the gypsy responsibility to set the cargo net now when there is no first mate then we need to re-enforece this with education to our gypsys, that it is thier responsibility to place it a position that makes it possible for them to do thier act before the show. I am just thinking of the show and show quaility here, because on those nights the "fearless" number looked like crap with the gypsy and the cargo net competing for space.
