Force is just another name given by Physicists, Mathematicians and others to "Push" and "Pull". To move something you apply force to an object = you push it push or pull it. However you can also describe "weight" as a force although nothing moves while you hold, for example, a pencil until you let it go=drop it. Force = mass times acceleration
