I managed to sit on the front porch just the other day, with a Sweet Tea (I'm told it's a southern thing). Even with the overhead fans working overtime, it was still too hot for me. The nice thing is that we cannot even see the road from the porch, as it's about a half mile off down the hill and behind the heavy foliage of the season.

Both stores are open and doing well (despite the gas crunch, which has hurt business quite a bit). Just when I can rest a little, along comes word that the next store breaks ground in October and will be open by late December or early January. Life is great, but I rarely have time to stop and smell the coffee.
