The alpha's ears perk up as a light winter breeze enters her nostrils.

There's a male at the borders....

She swiftly stands and stretches upon the roof of the den, then leaps down onto the frozen ground. Her green eyes flick from side to side, eyeing the soaring pines that encompass the territory. Passing Dawson and Aislinn with a flick of her tail, she trots to the border where the male awaits.

Tlaiga's black fur bristles, and she shows her teeth in dominance. A low growl escapes her maw, testing the wolf's patience and bravery. Her growl fades, and Tlaiga circles a few feet from the male, taking in his scent and observing the build of his body.

With a speedy snap of her jaws, only inches from Kai's, Tlaiga steps back into her territory, and faces him. After only a moment more, she flicks her tail in acceptance, and waits for the newcomer to rise.
