You should just take them for new disciplines or divisons. True, at the moment there is no barrel racing trainer, but if your horse joins with barrel racing as one of their disciplines, you can ride in that class. However, if you enter an event your horse isn't trained in, your horse cannot win the event, or they will have a reduced point value. You can stop taking them, but I hope the e-mail I sent you will clarify this matter.
