1.2 Fire detection system is provided to all areas not covered by automatic sprinkler installation including all E&M Plant Rooms expect pipe duct, cable duct and water meter cabinet, etc.

1.3 Heat detectors shall be used for all E&M Plant Rooms.

1.4 Smoke/Heat detectors of sufficient quantities are installed at strategic position as shown in the attached as-fitted drawings.

1.5 The alarm of automatics fire alarm system, sprinkler system and the manual fire alarm system is directly linked to the Fire Control Centre via direct telephone line and will call fire brigade automatically in case of fire.

1.6 The automatic fire alarm system is addressable type and designed to include basic facilities to receive fire alarm and provide remote control for the fixed fire services installations.

1.7 The main fire annunciator panel (MFAP)is located at G/F F.S. Control Room Tower 2(East Tower). And there are total four nos. of fire annunciator repeater panels (FARP) were installed at the G/F. Two of them were located at G/F ancillary office-1(for East Tower) and ancillary office--2(for Carpark) separately to repeat the fire alarm signals of B2/F, B1/F and East Tower (G/F to R/F). And the other two FARPs were located at ancillary office(for West Tower) and F.S. Control Tower 1(West Tower) to repeat the all fire signals of the West Tower(G/F to R/F).
