She pats her sleek neck affectionatly and leads her into the aisle, stopping between the cross ties. She deftly secures the mare and returns to T Bird's stall for the grooming supplies. Returning, the girl holds a dandy brush in one hand and a metal curry in the other. She attacks the horses back and barrel with the curry, rubbing up all the dust and loose hairs. When finished, she quickly brushes the debris off with the dandy brush and then repeats the whole process on the othe side. She returns to the grooming box and puts away the two brushes to return with a comb and hoof pick. After hurridly brushing out a few snags from both mane and tail, she moves on to the mare's feet, picking up each in turn and scrapping out any junk that had accumliated. She makes the trip back to the saddle stand to return the comb and pick and comes back with saddle and pad. She sets both on the mare's back together and slides them into place. Quickly, she does up the cinch and lets down the stirups before going back for the bridle. Unbuckling the mare's halter, she slides it down her neck and buckles it loosely there to make sure the horse couldn't escape. She holds the bridle before the paint, inserting her thumb in the side of her mouth to make her take the bit. Pulling the headpiece over her ears, she checks all the buckles to make sure everything is in order. Finished, she tightens the cinch one last time before removing the halter and swinging up into the saddle. She settles herself and takes the reins, clucking to the mare. "To the arena!"
