I think i was a bit unclear i my question. What a ment was how to connect to the display the easy way and using lcdunit.pas who comes with the compiler. But i've figured it out, it wasn't difficult.

PIC LCD
========
RD0--DB0
RD1--DB1
RD2--DB2
RD3--DB3
RD4--DB4
RD5--DB5
RD6--DB6
RD7--DB7
RE0--RS
RE1--R/W
RE2--E

But i do realise that i'm using a lot of i/o's this way and your examples are a lot more i/o effective.

I don't want to complain this is just a wish, it would be nice with a comment in the lcdunit.pas who explains the connection which is used.

I must say that i really like this compiler, it's pascalstyle it's free and it works.
