Whirlwind trotted in confidently and howled out a warm greeting. She was home. As she raced t'wards her pack yips were sound'd as if she was but a meer pup. As she solicited Distant Echo to play with her she snatched up a rabbit and threw it in the air, catching it as she did when she was a pup, just learning how to hunt.

A slow, but cautious howl was let out and the message was clear.

Soon we will be going on a hunt. Rest and store up much energy, it is almost time for the caribou race.

Whirlwind was referring to the famed 'race' where every year giagantic herds of caribou would travel 'pon the plains trying to reach their grazing grounds. The land this far north was barren of grass for them and so the pack must take down at least 3 calves or a doe, or if able a buck.

((OOC - ummm, so it gets interesting I was thinking 'bout playing the prey. Sound good? I could even make a new board for Hunting if the owner wants to. ok well w/e bye!))
