Whirlwind's twin radars perked up listening to the mournful song. She diverted her eyes from the pup and howled a warning to whomever had caused this grief. She yipped to Keana and they started the long run back towards home.

As the older, and more agile femme ran she was able to think and not concentrate intensly on jumping the fallen trees as Keana did. As they ran through the dense woods and brush thoughts rushed through her head as if a dam had come loose.

I hope Distant Echo is ok, although we havent been very close she is my favorite pack member. I bet that shady Spirit Shadow did something, or maybe Furacao. I swear if they did anything to hurt her I'll rip them apart limb from limb.

As she though Whirlwind did not realized she was going faster, teeth were bared and she was accendentaly leaving the slower pup behind. She dropped back and although the pup was getting too big she grabbed Keana's scruff of her neck and ran through the woods, as if she wasn't carring the extra pounds. When she reached the clearing where she had left Echo she franticly looked around for her. When she didn't see her nearby Whirlwind lifted her maw to the clear sky and let out a single howl. Two howls followed, from the east.

Whirlwind leatp to her feet and barking at the pup to stay where she was the fe'mora sped off to the rocky cliff where Distant Echo liked to lay and rest, or think when the oppourtunity appeared.

((OOC - sry bout the very slight powerplaying but I needed you to howl and not be in the packs main area for most of my post.... *<:O)
