In reply to: Drake 's message, "HOCKEY! Wings over Ducks in OT" on 22:58:02 11/15/02 Fri

My first response is Pthpthpth (Bronx Cheer with lots of spit)...

My second response is that I can program and watch TV at the same time. Those of you who have gotten to know me, you know I bleed Red and White for my hockey team: The Detroit Red Wings. If I have to choose between writing and watching a game... Hockey wins hands down! To let you know how intense it is with my job right now, I turned down tickets to Friday's game. That hurt more than I can possibly explain.

Thus, the order of priority follows: Work/Hockey (they vie for first place), and then Writing (third after those two). If anyone has a problem with this order, let me know and I will don my jersey, grab my hockey stick and whack the shit out of you ala Probert when he was with the Wings. Remember, we in the Detroit area define Hockey fanatacism. No other team can cough up alomst 1.5 million people for a victory parade. Interesting fact: During the last Stanley Cup celebration in downtown Detroit, crime dropped to nothing for the duration. Have I told any of you how much I love hockey? If not... Okay, I'll lay off.

'Nuff said.

Drake

PS: I am writing today. I just got back from the office.
