Subject: I'm thinking of trying to develop a simple voting algorithm in QBasic (the only language I can really work with...)

I'm doing it just to see if it's possible and how simple it is to do it, but I really won't have a problem if the BBV crowd uses it to argue against Diebold. The system I'm going to try and develop won't be touch screen for the simple reason that I can't even use regular graphics in QBasic, let alone things that work with a touch screen, but will be text-based. For example:

Please choose ONE of the following candidates for the Democratic primary for the 2004 presidential election:

A. Carol Moseley-Braun
B. Wesley Clark
C. Howard Dean
D. John Edwards
E. Richard Gephardt
F. Robert Graham
G. John Kerry
H. Dennis Kucinich
I. Joseph Lieberman
J. Alfred Sharpton

Enter the letter of your candidate here:_

What do you guys think?
