Subject: Kia's Quality

After reading everyone's comments, I thought I would share my experience with Kia's. I have worked at a Kia dealership for almost 2 years now as a lot attendant and driver. Before I started at Kia I had the impression that Kias really sucked. Now I have almost completely changed my mind after personally dealing with these cars for almost two years. My experience is that generally kias built after 2005 are just as good as any other manufacturer. As for before 2005, I would not defenitely not buy one because before 2005 they really were mostly junk. Throughout working for Kia, I have never had one problem with any Kia I have driven new or used before 2005! I also see this to be a general trend with the postings, as most are from older models. There are some posts of issues with the newer ones but every car manufacturer has a lemon or two. I have had many problems with my mazda6 I bought in 2005 such as bad fuel pump, tranmission shifting bad, wheel clips going bad twice, rattling noises everywhere, etc. My point is that every manufacturer has a couple lemons, no one is perfect! After working at Kia for two years, I would definetly buy a Kia before anything else, especially since not only are the kias now the same or better quality than all others, they have the best warranty and the best price! I am thinking about buying the new optima sometime in the near future.
