We took my 2005 Kia Optima in for service at an authorized Kia dealer. The car was vibrating and the engine light was staying on.Also the moonroof was not working. The service technician told me there were 4 broken motor mounts(caused the vibration). This car has never been off road, or driven hard.Shortly after, the timing belt broke at 88,000 miles while starting the car in the garage. This caused $2000 in engine damage. The same service tech tried to fix the moonroof for two hours and couldn't figure out what was wrong.I also own a 2006 Toyota Solara with 233,000 miles. Never a problem. I will never buy Korean again!
