We're afraid by the time my nephew wades through all the red tape, it might be too late for Connie. I emailed them last night and suggested as a last resort they go to The Cleveland Clinic.

Jeff had his appoointment with the third orthopedic surgeon yesterday and he does seem pretty thorough. The swelling hasn't gone down so a cast is out of the question right now so the new guy wants an MRI to see what damage there might be with soft tissue. He's having the MRI Tuesday but the doctor won't be in until Thursday and Friday so more wait time.

Meanwhile, I'm worried that bones will start healing misaligned. And nothing the doctors have prescribed so far is even touching the pain. I hope he doesn't get hooked on pain killers.
