Subject: WOOHOO! Gentlemen, the moment we have long awaited has at long last arrived!

Sit down folks...'cause the word is in, and Diablo 2 has gone gold.

Now, since all of you "avid" gamers out there still always ask me what it means when a game "goes gold," (at least, when Starcraft, Brood War, and War2:BNE went gold, the same people asked what it meant each time) so I shall explain.

When a computer company finishes a game, they make an engraved gold pressing of the CD. This pressing, or "gold CD" is made only when the game is complete and ready for shipping. Blizzard now has a gold pressing with Diablo 2 related stuff on it. What this means, is that the game is done, and that copies will be shipping fairly soon. Should be hitting most stores by the end of June. YAY.
