Subject: YARG! Damnit all.....

As I'm sure several of you have heard me complain, the moniter I use while at home is, well...pretty darn crappy. The thing can't pull anything higher than a 640x480 resolution. This is fine. I tolerate this. In fact, most games run on a 640x480 resolution so it's all good. Diablo 2 runs in 640x480...for the most part.

The only part of Diablo 2 which DOESN'T run in 640x480 are the pre-game menus, which wun in 800x600. What I want to know, is...who do I kill for this? ::sigh:: I can play, oh yes...I can play, but it involves some random clicking on my part, and the game I've been able to start (with a Barbarian) I have not yet been able to continue.

Add in the fact that my computer is kinda screwed up, and so it runs fairly choppy. I've noticed that if I hold down the ALT key, it runs smoother, but I also can't attack holding that down 'cause it does somethin'. Maybe after I have my computer worked on. ::sigh::

Anyway...I just thought I'd point a few things out. For one, the comic with which I am in love is mentioned in the Special Thanks section. GO SLUGGY FREELANCE! YEA!

Also...the little note about the Hardcore characters...the true mark of a good company is in thier sence of humor. For those of you who don't own the game. (Laugh at them everybody...laugh!) here it is.

Note: Blizzard Entertainment is in no way responsible for your Hardcore character. If you choose to create and play a Hardcore character, you do so at your own risk. Blizzard is not responsble for the death and loss of you hardcore characters for any reason includingInternet lag, bugs, Acts of God, your little sister, or any other reason whatsoever. Consult the End User License Agreement for more details. Blizzard will not, and does not have the capability to restore any deceased Hardcore characters. Don't even ask. La-la-la-la-la, we can't hear you...

::sigh:: I love Blizzard. What's sad is that you know people are going to INSIST that their Hardcore characters be reincarnated.

Personally, I plan to have one...and I just know that sooner or later, my hardcore will die....probably a very pitiful death, falls down the stairs and impales himself on his sword or something. Maybe IF we start the clan up, we can declare clan holidays to celebrate the deaths of any Hardcore characters who were over level 40 or something...hee hee hee.

Anyway...um, if there's anyway that if you can start a game using solely keyboard strokes, I would really really appreciate it if someone could take the time to list out the steps for me. ::grumbles::
