And here I am sitting in my room with an unused 15" monitor that can easily do 1204x768 resolution and I got it for free from work. If only you still lived in Batesville, this would be much less of a problem...

I do, however, screenshots of all the beginning screens that I can email you so maybe you're random mouse clicking won't have to be so random when you start a game. Unfortunately there is no way to start a game using only keystrokes (or if there is, it is some dark, little known Blizzard secret because it appears nowhere in the manual and no one I've talked to has any idea how it might be done).

By the way, I did love that comment by Blizzard about hardcore characters. I made a point of showing that paragraph to everyone who hadn't read it already. And the good news about hardcore characters is that you can create them on your computer too, which means that you can have a hardcore character to play single player, network, or open b.net games. Personally, I'd rather have one on the closed server, but that would mean putting up with lag and server shut downs, and personally I don't feel like running through the game again on normal difficulty just yet. I have, however, started the nightmare difficulty.

Oh, and about that ALT key in case someone didn't realize, it's a very cool thing. You can't attack while holding it down, but any item that is laying on the ground has it's name pop up on the screen, so if you hold down the ALT key after you've cleared out a room, you're guaranteed not to miss those small rings, amulets, or gems that might otherwise be overlooked.

But anyway Phule, I'm not sure if those screenshots would help you or not cause I don't know how familiar you are with the opening screens that are in 800x600, but if you think they would help then let me know and I'll send them to you.

Later all.

P.S. Another cool thing. When you beat the game on normal mode your character gets a Sir title, so my paladin is now named Sir Valiant even though I created him as just plain Valiant. I don't know what happens when you beat it on nightmare or hell, but I intend to find out within the next couple weeks.
