See, that's fine for now, but the Leap also knocks enemies back. It's good for pickin' off bad guys one at a time. I did some realy stupid stuff with my Barbarian at low level, (I think I put 4 points into Bash, which is almost useless.) In addition, I have 5 points in Polearm Mastery, and 6 in Axe. I've got a sweet axe, but those points in polearm are all but wasted. Plus, leap helped ALOT in Act 4, with all them Elemental attacks. That's what sucks about my barb. All his resistences are at 0. His armor is 600-somethin, so normal attacks never touch him. He does 40-150 with his axe too. Nothin' survives more than one hit.

Leap is also nice 'cause it's a efficient way of travel. In act 3, you can jump across those rivers. It pissed me off when those little guys would sit over there firing those spitwads at ya. Or it helps ya get to the back of those damned Maggot hordes....with lotsa baby maggots and the big ones sittin' behind spitting poison. this way, jump over the babies, kill the big ones, jump back it's alot easier to take 'em down.

That, and without leap, I'd still be up there fighting Diablo. I wasn't nearly tough enough to fight him yet, and that acursed lightningh attack....all 375 HP gone in 3 seconds. Leap was the only thing that allowed me. Jump in, attack twice, jump out.

It's a useful talent....just gotta know how to use it, man.
