Actaully that's a reason why the state WONT be split. Southern California likes thier water too much.

I personally don't care one way or the other.

And please don't mention the cost of living in California. Considering that in a short 3 years or so I will be required to acquire living accomodations for myself on what is likely to be a rather smallish salary. Elementary school teachers make beans, which is flat wrong considering it is without a doubt the single most important job in the world. Nevertheless, it is my chosen path in life. Heh heh heh.

Otherwise, California is cool. Dinna get me wrong, the midwest is ok, but, it's not California. One can take only so many corn fields and soy bean fields before longing for the hills of the Silicon Valley.

Also, rest assured that occasions like those mentioned by Emrys occur in the southern part of California, and in the southern part of California only... and let's leave it at that, shall we?

The only thing southern California has going for it is the fact that Blizzard is based in Irvine, which is about 30 minutes out of Los Angelos. On the other hand, Blizzard North, where the work on Diablo 2 is being done, is located about 15 minutes from my house, and only 5 minutes from Drake's. Therefore, Northern California is still cool, and the point of Southern California is neatly cancelled out.

La de da....I wanna play Diablo 2. Comeon Drake...let's go break into Blizzard North and steal it! Heh heh heh
