My argument is with the current state of security in the school district that I work in. The current policy is vague and the security measures set in place at present are to simply evacuate and make emergency phone calls. I suggest that the school district use grants or restructure the annual budget to either hire more security guards or to place security cameras in key positions of the elementary schools that are currently waiting for an accident to happen.

Currently I am gathering information from the school districts "Policies and Procedures Manual", and venturing out to find out what other districts around the country have tried.
