I can see good and bad points to "encouraging" the use of the technology available in the rooms. The good being the fact that we all want to continue to learn about all the new "stuff" that's out there. We need to keep up with the changing times. But, I think maybe where Ken is going is not only do we disappear into the corner, but not all of us are familuar with "how to" use it. It can take up a lot of extra time trying to set up and figure out what needs to be done with the equipment, when our goal is simply to enhance our speeches. I want to learn everything I can about new age technology, but I think I'm going to have to learn in a classromm specifically setup for it.
