If we fade into the corner, it is only because of the size of the screen in the classroom. and the small group in the class. It is true that some companies do not use technology for presentations, but if I used a poster board or a similar visual aid in a presentation where I work, I would be laughed out of the room. Use of PowerPoint slides to show data, or org. charts, etc. is a much better way of displaying what you want your audience to see.
