Your words have a great deal of truth to them. We destroy the very things that nurture us.
We kill our enemies children then weep when they kill ours.
The situation in the Middle East is very disturbing. The hatred there is so intense. And many have died for the media.
There is no doubt in my mind that the leaders of both sides use the media to get their point across.
And no doubt that confrontations have been staged and directed for maximum exposure.

And our planet is indeed dying. Seems the theory is that "we take what we can" and hope the next generation comes
up with a solution. Americans are begining to realize that we are not automatically
entitled to oil. And prices reflect that. Something the rest of the world has known for quite sometime.
Yet "big oil" represses alternative means of fuel. For nothing more than power and monetary gain.
Same for the pharmacutical companies.

It is for our children that I cry for. We have alienated them and then wonder why they embrace violence.
When it is the very thing we have taught them. Not by our words, but by our examples.

Respect for others must start with the individual. And that is true here in cyberspace also.
But as we know, there will be those that always seek to destroy and disrupt.
