In ancient greece, muggles and magic folk were able to live together. The magic however astonished a great deal of muggles, and many of them began to worship them as gods, building temples for them. I am sure all of you have heard of Zeus, Athena, Apollo, etc. They were all powerful witches and wizards. I assume you all have your textbooks, if you don't, please get them as soon as possible.
