Kenny,

Hi! How are you going? I thought I would reply to you're message, because I too was in the exact same position you are in now. I was never allowed to own any pets when I was living at home, and within weeks of moving out, I got a female rottweiler! When I went to pick her up, her parents came running out from a nearby shed and I thought they were going to attack me!! But I soon learned that all they wanted to do was sit on my feet and get attention!!
My dog (Star) is the same now that she is older, she looks like a big tough killer dog, but really is just a big sook who wants attention!!
My point is, that if you have a lot of love and affection to give, then a rottweiler is the perfect dog for you. If you give your dog love and affection from when they are little, they will love you for life. But if you don't spend a lot of time with you're dog and don't take it for walks At Least twice a week, not only will you're dog develop arthritis in the hips but you're dog will turn aggressive.
I have recentlu learned that my dog is pregnant, so if you live in victria and are looking to purchase a rotti pup in a few months time, give me a holler!!
I'm not exactly sure how long dog pregnancies are for, but in roughly 6-7 months time the pups may be ready to leave the mother. Good luck with you're dog hunting in the future, and take care.

Vic.
