(My point is, that if you have a lot of love and affection to give, then a rottweiler is the perfect dog for you.)

The Rottweiler is the perfect dog for you if you are willing to put in the time and effort to responsibly socialize and train them for the first 4+ years of their life. To do this successfully, you need to locate a responsible breeder and a good trainer. When you aren't training, you need to be reading and educating yourself on this breed. You have to be sure your insurance company will allow you to have a Rottweiler. You need to be proactive in educating the public. You need to learn about BYB's, etc.

(If you give your dog love and affection from when they are little, they will love you for life. But if you don't spend a lot of time with you're dog and don't take it for walks At Least twice a week, not only will you're dog develop arthritis in the hips but you're dog will turn aggressive.)

May I politely ask where you stumbled across this piece of nonsense?

(I have recentlu learned that my dog is pregnant, so if you live in victria and are looking to purchase a rotti pup in a few months time, give me a holler!! )

Well, this is a good example of a BYB. You obviously don't have a clue what you are doing. What titles does your bitch have? What are her health clearances? What does your contract offer?

(I'm not exactly sure how long dog pregnancies are for, but in roughly 6-7 months time the pups may be ready to leave the mother. Good luck with you're dog hunting in the future, and take care)

Another example of why you shouldn't be breeding. You don't even know the answers to the most basic questions. How are you going to improve the breed? How are you going to help puppy buyers with training questions, temperament questions when you are not yet educated on the breed yourself? All you are capable of doing at this point is attracting more people like yourself who think breeding these dogs is easy -and you will continue to pass on the same MISinformation you just spouted here.

Do us all a favor - spay your bitch.
