(HALIFAX)- Only minutes after receiving confirmation from Whitehorse GM Jeff Grothier about a trade that would have seen Halifax gain the 10th pick in the draft, the trade was ruled null and void after it was revealed that Whitehorse had previously traded the 10th overall pick to Edmonton the week before.

"We are certainly upset by this, we bargained in good faith and the Warriors tried to pull a fast one," fumed a visibly upset Stephen J. Holodinsky. "We are definitely going to complain to the league about this."

Meanwhile all was quiet in Whitehorse as no one could find Warrior's GM Jeff Grothier to get a comment out of him.

Stay tuned folks,

Rock Lobster
