Montreal, PQ - The game has playoff implications, but more importantly for Montreal's marketing staff, the Marauders can kill two birds with one stone.

Brad Richards and Bryan McCabe will be received as cherished members of the franchise as Montreal holds "Opponent Bobble Head Night" on Monday.

Originally, McCabe and Richards were to have their own Montreal bobble head promotions, but both were traded before the actual events. But not before the products were ordered by the Marauders marketing department.

"We have cases and cases of these things," said Assistant Marketing Director Reggie Dunlop, "so I'm glad we have a chance to give them out."

The bobbleheads will be given to every fan as they depart the Forum after Monday's game. It will be fan-favorite Richards' first game back in town since his trade just weeks ago.

The bobbleheads are still adorning Marauders' sweaters, but that can be changed easily, said Dunlop.

"I talked to folks over at Yellowknife marketing, and they'll be having a "Richards/McCabe Sticker Night". The stickers will simply wrap over the bobble bodies and turn these guys into Blades. It's a great move for them.

"Plus, it saves me an ass-load of cash on these things. If I had to sell these on EBay I might lose my mind."

The Yellowknife/Marauders game is sold out as fans are already primed to grab their collectible bobbleheads.

"I still love Brad Richards," said tweener fan Kelly Lavigne, "even if he's not wearing the Montreal 'M'.
