Katie it is so funny how you remember specific things only your mom did (cleaning the pool) or only your dad did (working with tools). I remember my mom doing specific things too like mowing the lawn. She actually broke her arm once mowing the lawn and I had to drive her to the emergency room. This then became my brothers job. I agree with your gender roles. I think this comes from having an older brother in my household as well!
