That´s the most accepted theory of Kamui´s wish till now among the X fans I know. I think it´s the right one. I mean, "because Kamui doesn´t realize the other Kamui´s wish, the future doesn´t change"(Kakyou). I think both Kamuis want EXACTLY the same thing: they want to kill the person they love the most, if that means their goal must be achieved(the goal of each of the teams). the point is, one of them will be necessarily unhappy: if "Fuuma" kills Kamui, cause Kamui wants to die so he won´t kill Fuuma, then Fuuma wakes up with bloody Kamui in his arms and freaks out. An plus, the world crumbles around him. If the oposite happens, it will be the same, as Hinoto said in the anime series, by the way: if Kamui kills Fuuma, he´ll achieve his team´s and himself´s goal, ideal, belief whatever, but will be sad, cause he had to kill Fuuma for that to happen. I think those damn swords should be simply destroyed, like Nataku´s grandpa wanted...maybe that´s why they were born after all. Kakyou keeps saying "if you use the shinken, you´ll meet Fuuma, but that will lead to further tragedies". Humans can´t change fate till they give up their selfish wishes, that causes wars between them. I think that´s what the X battle represents. Both sides must give up the fight for peace and understanding come. Kamui and Fuuma used to love each other when they were innocent(kids); maybe now the war started because they´ve grown up and gained different views of what life is. Kamui comes to Tokyo depressed and suicidal; Fuuma is still the kind, hard-working and strong boy he used to be. By the way, if dark fuuma behaves like Kamui wants him to, then he´s showing Kamui how evil he used to be: not valorizing himself and getting away from his beloved ones. It´s like Karen said:"the more you love someone, the more you get away from this person". See Subaru and Seishirou, and even Arashi and Sorata. Of course it´s just my view about it...
