Joe, Apache Pier is a 1200 ft long pier located in the Myrtle Beach area, about halfway between Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach. It is a 60 mile drive from Ocean Crest Pier to Apache Pier. Hwy 17 will take you from the Wilmington Area right into Myrtle Beach. I am sure you would be welcome at Apache Pier if you wanted to make the drive. Apache Pier does not have it's own website that I am aware of but you can see a picture of the pier and get pier information at the following website:

Some of the other piers in the Myrtle Beach area are; Cherry Grove Pier, Springmaid Pier, 2nd Avenue Pier, MB State Park Pier, Surfside Pier and the Pier at Garden City. Like myself there are several King Mackerel fisherman, who routinely fish the Myrtle Beach area, that like to fish OCP and the other piers at Oak Island. That is why you see some of us post on Sherri's message board. Everybody I meet at Ocean Crest Pier is first class and they used to really deck some Kings until this year rolled around.
