- not many. I don't think it is the fact of having photos or the cost. It is the fact that all the names have so many pics in each event. I can afford to do two shoots a year and order photos but I can't afford to do 8-12 a year like all the names, That is the problem is trying to keep up with all the names. another issue is the photos looking like the child. we have KK photos and they look nothing like our photos from xpressions. i turned them in and judges said they hated them since they didn't look the same. - couldn't agree with you more!! We've done 4 nationals this year and every one of them would allow anywhere from 1/3-2/3 of the supreme score from photos. I think that's ridiculous and I've said it before....it is all about how much money someone spends on pictures and has nothing to do with the true beauty and personality of a child. - Can someone please explain this to me. Why do some judges give a contestant perfect scores just because they are the only one in thier age group? I have seen this happen several times and the judges hardly even look at them while on stage. If the pageant doesn't give any title higher than queen that would not be a problem but when there are supreme titles to be won it does make a difference. ju a question???and a lil advice.. my daughter is 15 she has entered multiple multiple pageants. we have spent hundreds of dollars entering and on dresses. she does awsome on stage and has taken over 15 1st and 2nd runner up, but taking the title/crown, is just merely impossible!!!!! she has confidence on stage, we have only done natural pageants, shes only 4'9" and i truly think its her height working against her. she always walks away with a smile no matter what title she recieives, im just curious what it is thats holding the judges back from giving her the actual queen position !!!!!!!!!!! she's been in pageants since 2 yrs old. any advice? please thanks -- No name, 12/12/09 9:05pm

- No one can tell you without seeing her on stage. I don't think it's her height. If you've spent a considerable amount of money, the best advice I can give you is to invest a little more and start going to a coach. They know what judges look for and how to work with your dd. My dd would pull queen a lot but never higher. After just a few lessons she supremes more times than not. Our coach has been the best investment we've made. Good luck to her! - If you can, get your score sheets and talking to the judges...also look at the girls that are winning and see what they are doing different. Ladies can we please remember that it is Christmas and more importantly why we celebrate Christmas. I have not read a single post on here that didn't have at least one mean comment.
