Hey, all...
Good luck, good luck, good luck!! It was so tough for me to vote for Miss C. I found out about the pageant late, and had to rush to enter!! From what I've read, I think everyone here really deserves it.
Go Nu Sigma Rho sisterhood! :-) I think that's what it's all about.
Amy: I stopped by your wedding site today! Sooo cute! I love the Christmas theme! I'm thinking about doing a holiday theme for my wedding, too. Or, at least for some of it. Planning a wedding is so fun, and so much work! So many decisions. Lol. Mine isn't until 2005 or so, but definitely in the works. I'm already nervous!
Chauna: You are absolutely glowing!!! Congrats, girl!
Shauna and Mandy: You are both such remarkable, strong young women! On a personal note (that I can't believe I am posting on the world wide web!), I get PAs, too. What started as perfectionism (lol) blew up in junior year of high school, and then peaked last year, when I was directing. I (stubborn Aries Irish redhead!) decided that was it, and while I knew I couldn't get over them completely, I wouldn't let them run my life.
I took a year to re-evaluate and heal. I don't know that mine are as overwhelming as yours, though. As you know, every day can be a struggle, though. Because, at least for me, I never know what's going to bring them on. Does dance help you? I find the only things that really ever help me keep the attacks and swings in check is yoga and exercise. Maybe we can help each other out.
Erika: How did you do on the MENSA test?!
See? I'm writing a novel, too! Lol. Catching up!
Well, I am a writer! ;-) I love all the arts! The up-to-date news in my life is that I recently graduated college with a B.S. in communications and just earned a job managing two businesses. (I've only been there a little over a week, and it's so much to handle! It's a lot of fun, it's just difficult to absorb everything during peak weeks!) Like Jasmine, I am in the process of moving, too. Today and tomorrow, actually. Other than that, I am working to help save a pageant I've been involved with since 1994, which recently was "suspended" due to a conflict of interest that could prove to undue all the progress (more camraderie, prizes, contest improvements, and more appearances) that has been achieved since new directors took over with love in 1995. It's a really long story, but my friend who directed the competition (and might again soon, with luck and prayer!) is absolutely heartbroken that people who finance the competition would throw all of her hard work out the window like they did.
I need to go and run to the bank!
Much love to everyone!
