I think you may have missed my point.
Egypt did get what they wished for - and that was to get rid of Hosni Mubarak - at any cost.
At that time of dissension, they could not care less who else took his place.

So what did they get in place?
Mohd. Morsi who has made a Presidential decree that his decisions will be immunized from judicial oversight to preempt any legal challenge to an Islamic dominated constitutional process.
In other words.....Morsi is legally untouchable.

In Zimbabwe, we would have called it a Dictatorship (Mubarak was only an Authoritarian? Hahaha!).
In Egypt it is OK lah.....business as usual in a most dysfuntional (so-called) democratic transition.
Lessons to be learnt from other parts of the world?
