I don't know if you remember that poem I wrote regarding being the wife of a meth addict, but here is part of it that I think you need to see...

In order to keep the rest of my family in tact,
I had to face the cold-hearted fact
That our love for him isn't winning
And it truly has the Devil grinning.
We have to “Let Go and Let God”
If we ever want out of this crazy facade.
We can't continue to ride this emotional roller coaster with him

Don't put yourself or your boys on the line for him any more. The rest of his family have no clue as to what you've been through with or because of him.

Visiting in prison is really the pits! I recommend not doing it. What my boys go through to see their father is something that little ones shouldn't have to deal with. We only go when the boys tell me that they have to see him....but remember, my husband gave up the meth and the addict way, and came back to his family. If he hadn't, we would not have communicated at all. Your loyalty is to your boys, not to Spencer.
