hey becca!!
wow so you made it to the homeland!!! That is great- too bad you didn't make it to the real university- just kidding its that old oxford /cambridge rivavlry- once you've been to a couple of rugby games or watched the boatrace you'll get it.
So a couple of places to check out- the pub CS lewis and Tolkein (sp- its late!) used to hang out at is call the eagle and child i think and is worth a visit. A couple of good churches are St. Ebbs and St aldates.
I do have some friends in the area if you need some home cooked food or family life so let me know. Which college are you at? I am excited to hear about how you find living in the UK- remember the whole ' pant' thing and you'll be OK!!!
