Subject: Sneaking Back Author: Brutas & Titan [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 13:21:04 07/06/05 Wed A little time had passed since Brutas had gone to follow the two blues on the Farmyard, he'd tracked them to the Game Fields, but it didn't matter. He could report it to Scarface later but right now he had something so much better to do. The big blue male hurried to the Prison Pit and gave a gentle call to Titan. The two blues males stood away from the prisoners and began to whisper and mutter among themselves. Titan seemed to pause every now and again, shake his head or hum to himself. Brutas continued to talk and then he was silent with one ear cocked forward and his head in a sideways position of curiosity. Titan paused too then nodded his head. He trotted about, scuffling himself around in the dirt and scraping himself along sticks, branches, and stones. Brutas meanwhile slipped into the den and licked Elegance gently on the head. The little vixen smiled softly and nuzzled his leg with her nose in thanks. Then the big male guard, who'd never before betrayed his master, spoke up so Stormy and the cubs could hear fully. ^Right now you lot, I want you to listen very carefully to what I'm about to say. Scarface is distracted down at the farm and I spotted someone on my way back that's bound to distract him even more. Anyway Titan's outside getting himself all scruffy looking, so he looks like he was just beaten up very badly. Now I want the three of you to follow me out of this pit and into the forest. I'm going to take you onto the edge of Farthing Land where you can make your way home. I spotted Kali on the way and she said she was staying with Thunder and Trick's parents. Anyway Elegance you're to follow your friends and Stormy you're to go straight to the Farthing Fox if you know him and tell him what has happened. Now this is just a one time thing so don't expect it to happen again.^ He sighed hard and his head and ears drooped as he looked at Stormy. He'd miss her company but this was very important if the war was to end. He stuck his head outside the entrance and checked on Titan. Titan was lying with blood poured over him on the ground, he'd always been a tricky little creature and when a cub he'd been so accident-prone his parents had been thankful he'd not broken any limbs!
