 Brutas spotted Stormy heading his way and he suddenly jerked upright and wagged his tail in happiness, only to cringe in slight pain. If it hadn’t been for sheer politeness he’d have rubbed his black noses deeply into her creamy white cheek fur. She was such a beauty and his heart felt a sudden leap as she spoke in another happy expression. But Brutas checked his cut suddenly, the scab had torn and it was bleeding again. He gave a low irritated growl at the sight and turned around nodding slowly. But to the giant blue’s surprise, the vixen was pressing closer to clean it. Brutas gave a low growl of uncertainty but then looked at Stormy carefully. The vixen was just so bold and so strong that he couldn’t refuse the aid. The proud and loyal guard lowered his head in acceptance and then cringed and growled at the touch of the tongue on blood, it stung horridly. Then he answered her question very gently and tried not to grimace whilst speaking. ^Yes it was my boss, he’d seen an old ‘enemy’ or something earlier, an old blue called Rocket that had taught my father, and was going to teach me until Scarface got tired of his teachings. Anyway the boss did this as punishment for my story of loosing you in a snowy chase. Of course he didn’t hurt Titan, no I’d given him a clamping on the paw and we both said it had been you. I’d claimed it was the blood of Farthing Wood and that had made him go crusty.^ He snorted softly then moved out of the way of her tongue. The blue fox nudged the rabbit toward Stormy then gave a low whimper. He pressed his velvety black nose softly against Stormy’s cheek and rubbed it gently. Then he pulled away and sighed. ^I know it’s only been a short time since we last met, but I have missed you a lot lately. I suppose it’s the interesting conversations you had or the way you spoke to those cubs. Anyway I was wondering what you’d consider of my services to you, not to the Reds of course, I’m too loyal to leave my family’s side, but if you need me to assist you in anyway then don’t hesitate to ask.^ He snorted a chuckle softly and titled his head on one side with his ears bending the same way. ^And of course I’d do anything for those youngsters you protected, Elegance cause she’s a pupil and the two lads, well I think that Thunder or was it something else has a good heart and conscience.^ He grinned slightly then sat down again and sighed.
