Dusk looked downhearted. He felt he would have to explain things to Kali-after all, she was his friend. It was no secret that Dusk was not a skilled fox but he didnt really like having to admit it. Plus, there was the issue of Sunsets dissapearence.
Thunder was happy to see Kali, and especially Elegance. He wagged his tail happily. "Ok, Kali, I'll go pick a fight with Bluey again." He grinned. "I can look for my brother at the same time-he galloped off in a different direction to me I think, and I havent seen him in a while." He lept to his paws. "I'll look for a place to live too Dad. Do you want me to tell you when I do? You can come and help me decorate!"
Dusk rolled his eyes at his son. "Thunder, go. Find your brother and Kalis sister-who is Bluey? Another friend or an enemy? Dont you get in trouble again.
Well, do what Kali said. And...tell me when you have a den. You will always be welcome at home. You know that. And...if you see your mother...if you see her, tell me, please, its important. See you soon, my son."
Thunder barked. "See you Dad! Come on Elegance, lets go search for stuff. Want to hunt? Im starving! Bye Dad, bye Kali!" The young male lept to his feet and started to run, going nowhere in particular but delighting in simply being free again.
Dusk turned to Kali and sighed. "Im glad your sister has gone neautral-thats one less enemy for us and one more potential ally. But, hang on, did you want Thunder to take a message?" He stood up to call after his son but Thunder was gone. Dusk sat down again. He was oblivious to the fact that Angel was in fact a youngster-he assumed that Kali's sister was the same age as her.
"Well, I suppose he'll find her and have nothing to say. Sorry about that." He sighed and put his head on his paws. "Its a relief that the cubs are free, but I wont be content until I have seen Trick as well. Although he might have gone off and got himself a mate without saying...no, he would tell Thunder...and speaking of mates, Sunset seems to be missing. I hope she is alright-I dont want my sons to have been freed just to have my mate taken prisoner or..." he trailed off. Some of his fears about Sunset he didnt want to voice, especially the one that she had got a new mate and left him.
"How have you been Kali?" He asked to change the subject.
