The blue vixen stared sadly at her friend as he pondered over the riddles of his missing mate. Kali was sad for Dusk, he was a kind fox and had taken her in and helped her when Elegance had been imprisoned and Rooster had betrayed them. She began to groom Dusk's cheeks first, noticing how ruffed up they were. Gently she licked her black paws and rubbed them against his fur and managed to straighten it. Then she adjusted the little on-end hairs on his forehead. Then the vixen finally decided to answer Dusk's questions. "I've been lonely. I sorted out a new den site on the edge of the park boundary so I won't be disturbed. But I got worried because I hadn't heard from you two for a while. When I found Titan cleaning by the stream a few days ago he told me about the escape and then I came looking for you two with a meal this morning and got bounded on by my darling daughter. I'm glad they're all right but I worry about you, Sunset did mention in one of our girly chats that you had problem catching prey in winter. So I guessed it must be your coat colour so snuck around and caught the bird. Blue can be a useful colour in the latest months of the year and at night." She grinned softly then waited for Dusk to eat some.
