Thunder galloped around the trees and yipped over his shoulder. "Elegance! Elegance! you coming or not?" He paused and howled for a second. Thunder loved his brother Trick and was getting a little worried for him. Had he been recaptured? He put his nose to the ground again, but it was out of habit rather than anything else. He could smell vague smells but he barely had the sense of smell of a human, let alone a fox.
"Trick, Trick!" he yapped for his brother, in case Trick was around. Then, for good measure and to do what he'd told Kali he would, he barked "Bluey! Bluey!"
he stopped barking and looked around. No Elegance. Maybe she wasnt coming after all. No one else either.
Thunder decided to practice a little hunting. He sniffed for rat, but picked up the scent of another fox. He put his head on one side. It was a scent he sort of recognised...but it was different now too. It wasnt a rat, anyway, so Thunder rather daftly ignored it. He hadnt really learnt much from his experience in jail. He yawned and looked around, then decided that hunting wasnt worth it. He lay down under a tree and groomed a paw.
