] Date Posted: 19:01:33 04/05/09 Sun Just to let you know, we have had great success for security police and dog handlers getting compensated for exposure to herbicides in Thailand with DEROS between 1970 - 1974. So far we have 3 from U-Tapao, 2 from NKP, 1 from Korat, 1 from Udorn, and 1 from Ubon. We have quite a few working including 3 more from NKP, 3 from Korat, 2 from Ubon, 1 from Udorn, and another from U-Tapao. Additionally, some are getting PTSD from the attacks there. Earlier tours (pre-1969) are not being approved, and unfortunately, I have nothing about Tahkli. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |

See I have a picture of one of the barrels directly behind mortar pit tree at nkp while I was there from oct.1972 to oct 1973. would like to know case # for those who have won. Im type two with fatty liver now. I may go to my grave before I win but I didnot run in the face of enemy fire and will not run in face of a currupet VBA. Thanks for your preseverene and GOD bless you. timothy Sturges aka mortatr man. hope you over lok spelling with PTSD its harder for me now to get it right. Date Posted: 19:43:44 11/11/09 Wed Do you know of anyone working for the dog handlers that were in the Phillipines and were exposed to Malathion on a regular basis through dipping of their dogs? My husband was at Clark for several years as a dog handler and had significant exposure. His time in Viet Nam was brief, as he worked guarding on the airlift out. >Just to let you know, we have had great success for >security police and dog handlers getting compensated >for exposure to herbicides in Thailand with DEROS >between 1970 - 1974. Date Posted: 08:54:44 05/15/14 Thu Had heart attack 2008 - in 2010 rules changed to allow Thailand K-9 and perimeter SP's (maybe augees too) for AO/herbicides - BUT - a friend - also handler at Udorn same time had heart operation and skin problems and is getting B.S. run around. Keep fighting. >Just to let you know, we have had great success for >security police and dog handlers getting compensated >for exposure to herbicides in Thailand with DEROS >between 1970 - 1974. Date Posted: 05:19:15 03/28/15 Sat I was stationed at Ubon 72-73 as a dog handler. I filed my claim with the VA for exposure of AO. The VA denied my claim because I didn't have the approved illnesses recognized by the VA. I have the following medical problems, liver, breathing, headaches, stomach problems, paralyzed diaphragm (left side). Any information would help to include in my appeal. Date Posted: 17:20:55 07/05/17 Wed Hi I came across in a search, and wanted to let you know I was an Augmente at Udorn, 70/71, then at NKP 71/72 & 74/75. About 2008 I had a heart stint and got 30% for AO exposure. I was fortunate that I had in my records the blue AF training certificate which proved my perimeter presence. In 2015 I developed bladder cancer and did cemo and had bladder removed. I am waiting on a claim for that now. Great informative site. Thanks, Jim C [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
