The best to you and the men of Lima Company. I served Lima from 67-70 0311/0351 . Fire team leader squad leader to platoon sgt. in 33 months in s.e. asia. You have to know every one of us who are still out there support our outfit but we're just to damn old and slow :) but there was a day we were the absolute best there was. High speed, low drag kick ass Marines and we did a damn fine job. I know the current Lima Marines are younger, smarter and in some ways better trained but we were the product of WW-2 U.S. Marines who were looking for what our fathers were talking about if they spoke at all. My Father served with 1/1/1 in WW-2 and 3/1 in China until 1947, so there was a bond there. All you can do is the best you can, suck it up and go forward, make the enemy know and fear you..nothing beats intimidation and follow up..
